Behind the elegant naming ”musique est disponible ” hides a soundtrack of time, genre, feelings, analogic warfare and weird digital manipulation. Neither Ep`s, nor albums, m.e.d will be rather about special musical pieces compound and interpreted in several hands. Admins aint acting as distributors, more like shaping the musical esthesia, but members are able to contribute. And of course facebook, the mass moving ( mass wasting?) phenomenon of our century, formed a medial platform, enabling playing with it, in terms of fulfilling the requirement of the m.e.d. team. This unique work in our homelands with it`s variable geometries will take the shape of surrounding musical attractiveness.
Drugged on “do it yourself” and doped with a buzz going from west to east, i`ve always tried dropping off the mass-pop-culture we`re confronted each day. Looping my way through early hip hop elements and indie-rock riffs i got deeply influenced by the electronic wave in mid 20`s. I`ve never seen a scope of creativeness like that before. Everything seems possible right now. Reams of artists and dj`s got roused which made a general overview almost impossible. i-radiostations, early blogs as you know it, helped, but there must be another way, and of course there must be other music boffs like me. Fortunately Peter met me halfway posting fresh stuff on my facebook profile, and of course other way round. Time with daily updated playlists on our ipods went by until things went clear. We need a thing called blog contributing with all our friends. Everybodies taste, latest concerts, artworks, but mostly fascinated by digital sound, we provide a perfect sound-track for car-chasing and TV shows from the 80’s, falling somewhere between forgotten Italo-disco melodies, Jan Hammer’s soundtracks and of course all the other wide genres music is offering us. So let`s say we look and take from the past whilst remaining firmly connected to the movement of today.
Name giving was easy, it must be a buzzing phrase everybody could identify with, and first or foremost, not discriminating or making it someone impossible posting his/her music. „Music est disponible“ was born.
What at first was shaped as a platform of musicfriends has become a circle of creative heads, topping with a groove that can keep you dancing until the sun comes up over the beach front palm trees. Holding by a number of 283 members we are steadily increasing. Hopefully with your help.
So let „musique est disponible“ bring you the original soundtrack of a future under fluorescent light. This music will take you where only the brave and toughest can go!
